Buenos!

Hellllooooo everybody! ahaks.. sorry for being like a chips more. in and out! Anyway, my journey here in masterskill is almost year (this August). Man! Time flies!
Just came back from Tawau last week (the last time I visited tawau was back in 1989). Went there for my cousin's wedding and i was super excited as I was going to see sabah after soooooo long. Basically our trip there is pretty organized. The 1st 3 days we had functions to attend, the nikah, girl's side function and boy's side function. But the rest of the day its up to us how we spend our time.

Friday-5th of June 2009

Woke up at 3am in the morning (argh), got ready and left for LCCT at 4.45am. Arrived at 6am. Had MCD breakfast...Our flight took off at 7.20am sharp! arrived sabah approximately in 2 hours and 40min. Excited(like a small kid). Take off was exhilirating :D As we arrived my cousin brother, Fadlan was already there to fetch us. We had a drink at the airport and went straight to the Hotel. Journey from the airport to town takes about 45min. on the way we were chit chatting, catching up on old times. Then we arrived MB hotel, it was early so our room wasn't ready. We had to wait. We waited at the lobby till we got our room, its a nice room though..Simple yet comfy (thank for booking the rooms for us Kak Zhaf). Around 2 pm we went out for lunch, had this delicious lunch in Malaysian Chicken rice shop.




After lunch we've decided to rest in the room as the nikah is at 6.30pm later in the evening. We got ready and left around that time. As we arrived, the Khatam Al-Quran was just about to start and I saw my cousin sis in her bride costume, she was sooo pretty! "Seri Pengantin" kata org =) snap a few pics then we headed outside for the khatam Quran.



after that as the groom arrives. the Nikah started. Everything went well. Sekali lafaz je. Alhamdulillah...



The rest of the nite, were spent with photo taking sessions, and getting to know both sides of the family =)





We left around 10.30pm.. As i did not have enuf sleep the nite before, I slept quite well =) Will continue about my next day in my next blog...

Well,well,well...I had a day that was full of surprises.

First and foremost,(skema la pulak), the only time I really worked is the 2 hours I went into class teaching Nursing students grammar. Other than that, I spent rest of the day that started 7.30am as follows:

7.15am: arrived office with Vivian. Chit chat for a while.

7.30am: Mimi and Wie arrived office. Mimi suggests we change our destination to
Genting. Most of us were excited. But we have yet to decide.

7.45am: Mimi said "Guys jom g cuba nasi lemak makcik bawah tu." i teringin. So i
pun kata alrite jom. Myself, Mimi, Jeremy, Wie and Pa'an turunla makan ramai- ramai..". It actually tastes good! and cheap!

8.35am: back to the office. Watch Om Shanti Om. After that watch Upin-Ipin. Cutenyer.

9.35am: Breakfast again with Segar, Viv, Malini and Pala. Makan sikit jer sebab dah
kenyang.wakaka. Got a call from mum tanya confirm tak g singapore.I'm like
oklah i pegi..Surabaya?tak tau lagik...

10.20am: Mimi sms. kata ada maggot meeting.wokeh treasurer report duty. kami tukar
venue.Ke putrajaya.Buat concept picnic cam ari tu.Yeay! so each of us kena
bawak something...as usual i kena bawak nuggets and sausage...hehe

12noon: G makan dgn Malini, Segar, Viv, Pala..kat aunties shop..mak aih pedasnyer

1.50pm: Beli buah kat uncle..ingat nak beli tapi tak jadi plak.hehe.balik ofis tgk
upin-ipin lagi.comeinyer dia org

2.30pm: Teman Viv G jumpa madam jap. pulang pendrive. Met My my brilliant student
Tan E-Lynn and Shajitra on the way. Lama tak jumpa.They're happy with their
results :-)

3.15pm: Started preparing for class. sambil-sambil dgr David Cooked

3.40pm: G minum dgn madam with Li yuen, Viv, Malini, segar..my students follow
me.ingatkan i nak g klas terus. tapi tertipu.hehehe..

5.55pm: I had a great time teaching, doing exercise, ajar Grammar pakai superman
poster.hehe. Budak-budak ni Asyik tersasul jer panggil madam. adui i wud
stare at them! geram.I know its actually an honour but i feel very
uncomfortable, as though i'm married.I love my students, they make me laugh
like hell!but sometimes they can be very-very irritating.hehe

6.00pm: BAlik umah la.lepak jap.tgk tv.pastu mandi and online sampaila skrg..

12.00am: Dah ngantuk.tapi nak siapkan appraisal jap ni..hehe


See..I told u I only worked for 2 hours..The rest of it tak tau g mana.hehe..not on purpose.memang takder keje daa..Anyway, it has been interesting...And amazingly i'm still awake at this hour. Usually by 10pm Im already in dreamland...orait guys have to finish something and go to bed..see ya...

Hello World. I'm back!

Waaaaa..its been ages since i last wrote my blog (LoL!)

I don't know sometimes I tend to forget but most of the time i'm lazy.huhu..It's Wie senget who keeps pestering me to update my blog.So after 3 months, I'm back to bore you with my life story that's not that happening(wakakaka). The point is I'm very-very happy with where I am now, so Syukur Alhamdulillah.hehe

Well what's new in my life? Lots and lots of things but lets just start with something simple. As Wie wrote in her blog, we exchanged CD's among each other. Suddenly ada mood nak tengok movies.

Last Nite i saw "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi". Seriously when Wie gave me the VCD she said "Fizza its a very bad copy" I'm like ok. So after 1 week holding the VCD, i finally pop it into the player.and BAm! hehe over dramatic plak. It surprised me, its totally different from Shah Rukh's other movies. It started with Shah Rukh(with the geeky look) already married to this girl and they are not in love with each other. She got married out of obligation. and through out the movie SRK is trying win her heart through something that she's passionate about, Dancing! If u wanna see SRK dance his heart out. Watch this movie..It's a beautiful love story!

Wow...It's been ages since I last wrote in my blog...

Currently i'm working in Masterskill University College. It has been 3 months and so far, so good. Different sets of students, different environment and the best part it's much-much closer to home (it's only 5 min away compared to KDU-1 hour).

My friends here are as crazy as I am.Hehe..Manage to find someone who "clicks" with me. The Maggots! (up there) My working life has never been happier with these guys! All Sengals! hehe..And I have my best buddy here as well...best,best..Yup we have our ups and downs, but we'll sail through.. Don't know what else to write because my sengal gengs are here and their distarcting my ideas...huhu..Till next

Thursday

Today I have decided to try the bus and train service. I left around 5.40pm and we got a bus right away. bus service was ok.Wahida and myself were chatting all the way. When we got to the train station there were already a number of people. By the time we boarded the train it was 3/4 full...as we stopped at each station, it's becoming more pack, and pack. i had to basically touch both my pockets and guard my bag at the same time to make sure nothing's missing. Wahida got down at the Taman Jaya station and i still have 6 more stations to go before reaching Jamek and it was like hell! so packed and unfortunately there were 3 guys behind me and we were bumping into each other's bodies but there's nothing we can do bout it...

When i finally reached Masjid Jamek, it was like coming out of the closet to get fresh air..hehe...i donno how people do it everyday. Actually i know it's packed during peek hours as i have travelled like this before back in 2005 when i was working in wisma MCA Jalan Ampang. I took the Putra from Jamek to Ampang Park.But it wasn't that bad as it was only 3 stations away and most of the time the train will be empty once we reach KLCC.. The trick is to stand right next to the door, hug or bag in front of u and just speed once ur station arrives. this way u don't have to squeeze through people when u r getting down...

What an experience..by the time i arrive Jamek i felt so tired as though i had a long day at work.hehe

3rd day...

Yesterday was something..I had the opportunity to do something as a Lecturer. Finally! I was asked to help invigilate a major exam in the auditorium...

First I had lunch with Mohana, My colleague who is taking the same road as we're both fresh TESL graduates.She came in one semester earlier so she had experience. SO to be able to have a one to one lunch just between the two of us, I was able to chat with her regarding her teaching experiences here :-)

After lunch both of us and the rest of the english lecturers headed to the auditorium. We distributed papers and later invigilated the exam. Most of the students thought i'm a new student. Finally when they saw my card, they were shocked. Hehe. I love doing that, giving people surprises.Hehe...I'm new here and I haven't taught any classes yet so it'll take time for them to recognize me...

Went back home with Kak Nora, I took a ride with her...

2nd day of work

Finally, They fixed my PC.. And i was bombarded with so many information.hehe.. From staff handbook, to the computer systems to the syllabus. It was non stop. Sin Yi (Nick's assistant) explained everything thoroughly one by one but i think after some time the information were not process. It just came in one ear and went out the other ear. I had Tunnel Vision! Too much info..hehe...after all the explaination. She gave time to absorb everything so I started reading the manuals and exploring the PC. By the time I went back I felt soo tired. Not physically, but Mentally tired...
